Online Card Payments
As you are aware,
Visa and Master Card payments are processed through a secure online payment
gateway system. You need not worry about your card information falling into the
wrong hands because your bank will authorize the card transaction directly
without any information passing through us. In approximately 25-30 seconds
(depending on your internet connection) your bank will issue, using the online
payment gateway, an authorization code and confirmation of completion of
transaction.
Tezpur University, registered through ERNET Certified, with domain 'tezu.ernet.in', uses the latest technology and other sophisticated methods to
protect your credit card information. You can pay your fees using SSL encryption
(the internet standard for secure transactions). In fact, transacting online
with a credit card at the Website is even safer than using a credit card
elsewhere because we do not retain your credit card information. You can be
assured that Tezpur University offers you the highest standards of security
currently available on the internet so as to ensure that your payment is
private, safe and secure.
If the payment on the credit card is declined for some reason, alternate payment
instructions must be received by Tezpur University.
Internet Banking
If you have an account in any bank within India, you can pay your fees / other payments through your bank's net banking options and the amount will be automatically debited to your account. Tezpur University processes the payments through an online gateway system which enables safe and secure transactions.
Transaction Confirmation
In case of confirmation to be received by message: If you do not receive a confirmation of your purchase/transaction within the stipulated period, please contact Tezpur University. (The confirmation mail for online application fee payments will be computer generated/automatic)

Electronic Receipts ("e-Receipts")
What is an e-Receipt?
An e-Receipt is an electronic document with a unique confirmation number given to remitter in place of a paper receipt.
How will I get my e- Receipt details?
Your e-Receipt
details will be sent to the email address provided by you at the time of making
the online payment of your fees and / or it can be generated in the system. In
case you do not have an email address, the details will be given to you over the
phone.
If you do not receive your e- Receipt within 72 hours after making your payment
on www.tezu.ernet.in, please send mail
Amendment and Cancellation policy
The application form fee is non refundable.
What are the cancellation / amendment charges?
Cancellation and/or amendment of confirmed admission fees shall at all times be subject to levies as per the refund policy of Tezpur University. Any cancellation/amendment levies shall be borne by you.
The student / customer must read Tezpur University specific terms and conditions
in order to find out if the payment / fees proposed to be paid. In the event of
any cancellations, additional charges are leviable and students / customers are
advised to take special note.
Note: Unless expressly stated otherwise, refunds
shall be processed only through personal contact with Tezpur University or
through e-mail.
The above mentioned cancellation and the refund processing time may vary.
Refunds, if any, would be through cheque / demand draft/ RTGS only.
Tezpur University reserves the right to add, alter, modify, withdraw all or any
of the Terms and Conditions or replace, wholly or in part, the program by any
other program, fees, whether similar to this program or not or withdraw it
altogether without any prior notice.
In case of any dispute Tezpur University's decision will be final and binding
and subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in the District of Tezpur, Assam.
When you register with Tezpur University online, we or any of our
partners/affiliate/staff may contact you from time to time to provide the
details/information of such payments/services that we believe may benefit you.
